I don't know that there is much of a story, but I'll try to make this as interesting as possible. . . .
So, we've been having issues with the Dodge. Last June the power steering pump went out & then the a/c. On top of that the blower quit working unless it was on high. Jim put a new power steering pump in but we had to wait on the a/c. Then winter came & the heater didn't work to well. Jim & Daddy figured out why the blower wasn't working very well, but that was after Scott & I spent $200 for a new blower switch which didn't turn out to be the problem. On top of that the power steering was acting up again so I was starting to freak out about that. We finally broke down & took it into a mechanic since Jim & Daddy were stumped as to what could be the problem. $700 later we find out that the heater core was plugged. Now mind you every time Jim & Daddy tore deeper into the truck they found what appeared to be a rat's nest (literally). So now we replaced the heater core & the mechanic said there was a leak in one of the hoses for the power steering pump so he fixed that as well. Not to long after we got the truck back from the mechanic the power steering was freaking out AGAIN. Not to mention off and on the truck would act like the fuel filter was plugged & sometimes I felt I was lucky to get going down the road. So, I started trying to talk Scott into getting me a different truck. We had gone up to Grand Junction for some reason & stopped at a dealer to see a Fire Engine Red Nissan Titan. We would have left with that one except we didn't have the Dodge to trade in (we were in the Grand Am) & the Nissan didn't have a tow package. Which is very important since we have a camper to tow around. About 2 weeks later the dealer got in this one. I had Brian up in Grand Junction for our appointments with the allergist so we stopped by the dealer to see what they would give us for the Dodge. Of course they didn't come close to what we needed so we walked away. We put the Dodge in the newspaper & put signs in the windows to see if we could get a bite on it. But nothing!! Finally Thursday things just kind of fell in place. They dropped the price on the Nissan by $1000 & gave us about $200 more on the Dodge, so yesterday I took off work when I went in to get my cast off my foot & when I was done there & Scott was home from work we went up to Grand Junction & did the deed.
So now I have a new truck. Not new, new, but new to us!! And that's the rest of the story. :o)

That really sucks! Did you rip the stereo out of it since we had such a hard time with that as well?
