Merry Christmas!!

Yesterday started out just like any other day but for the small exception that I got to sleep in. My office gave us the day off - a paid holiday. Scott & I lazed around the house for a bit & then ran into town (around 11:30) for some last minute things before all the stores closed for the holiday. The first thing we had to do was stop off at Wal-Mart & then onto Sport Clips so Scott could "freshen-up", so we parked in between the two so we could walk to both of them. So . . . out of the car I get, grab my husbands hand and start walking to Wal-Mart. In our haste I was NOT watching where I was walking and twisted my ankle. After taking a few seconds to catch my breath I limped my way around for the rest of the afternoon. Around 9:00 that evening I finally gave in and let my husband take me into the hospital. Come to find out I tore the ligaments in my ankle. They gave me a brace & some crutches to walk around on for the next 2-3 days.

This is what my foot looked like last night at the hospital.

Yeah, great way to start Christmas. I will say though, that was the quickest trip in and out of an ER that I've ever been a part of!

The Bro:

Ouch Sis! That hurts!

Take care of yourself girl!!!

Dad:

My ankle hurts just looking at that. Take care of yourself, would ya! Have the kids found out that they have free rein yet?

The Bro:

So, how's your foot a month later? :)

HINT

(That meant post something new. Looking at your swollen ankle everytime I check is a bit much! :)
