Yes, we FINALLY found Scott's phone, but that's not what I'm referring to.
Sabbath morning, we got up late, so I called Mom & Dad to see if they could take the kids into Sabbath School. I let the dog out, because she was pacing the carpet off my bedroom floor. When we left to go to Church, Scott & I called and called and called and called . . . (you get the picture) and she never showed up. Not having anymore time, we left thinking she would be at the house when we got home (this has happened before). Well, when we got home she wasn't waiting for us. Since we had a house full of company we decided to go ahead & have lunch, then look for her before we went back into town for the Adventurers Induction Ceremony. Well, after lunch the kids went outside and called and called and called and called . . . (again you get the picture) to no avail. Again, she didn't show up. Since I was singing a song to the kids for the ceremony I went to the bedroom & ran through it a couple of times. When I finished Scott took the kids & drove around the "block" to see if they could find Kira. Still nothing. When they came back from driving around they came up Mom & Dad's driveway. Scott stopped in front of their garage & told Brian to get out & check the garage for Kira. Guess what?!?!?!? She was in there. She must have chased a cat in the garage as Mom & Dad were pulling out to go to Church. Poor dog must have been going CRAZY trying to get to us when we were calling her.
Well, she is now found & we are in Denver for the week to hang out with Scott's family for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Happy Thanksgiving BlogWorld!!
