w a n d e r l u s t

This morning I had a few minutes to sit down and read some bloggs before I went to work, just to catch-up with what's going on in the lives of those I love. As I was reading, I thought to myself . . . . "Self, I bet the rest of the family is wondering what is going on in your life. You might want to consider posting on your blog a some point." So here I am. ;o)

I love my new job. I have one "job" now instead of three, which makes my life a WHOLE LOT less stressful. I don't miss FAHTCO at all. (should I feel bad about that?) I get to wear a headset around so I can answer the phone no matter where I'm at. It's kinda weird. It's really cool, a few of the employees have had their kids in here because the other parent had an appointment or something came up & they didn't have daycare worked out etc. That's been nice in the fact that they don't freak-out if you need a short-term wait area or something. It's a really family friendly place. Really, really!!

I've been really, really busy with school board trying to get all our student handbooks & registration forms up to date. We've had school board meetings every Thursday night for the last 4 weeks. I have another one next week & that's ones all about me baby!!! It's the night to talk about tuition rate & how we want to work the budget for next year, etc.

Right now I'm working on trying to think of some good "games" for the kids to play at Brian & Rebekah's birthday party on Sunday. I ordered the cakes yesterday & had Scott pick up a gift for Rebekah. We already had one for Brian. And that's about it there.

This week Scott gave me my V-day gift (which we've never had those before), only because he made an error in which debit card he used & I found out what he was getting me. Sorry babe!! However, I kind of gave mine away too, so I gave it to him that day so he wouldn't feel so bad for making that little boo-boo. However, since he gave me my DS, I haven't had much time to play it. Oh well . . .

Well, I think that's it for now. Hopefully I won't wait for to long before I post again.
