w a n d e r l u s t

So this morning I had a "wonderful" surprise when I got out of the shower. Alright, I'll start at the beginning.

Scott was up and out of the house around 5:45 this morning. (before I drug my sorry rear out of bed) Around 6:00 I got up to get ready for work. I brushed my teeth first & while I was doing that I moved the rug back in front of the shower. (it tends to scoot away from the shower after use) After I was done with my teeth I got in the shower. (I won't go into detail here, I'm sure you all know what happens in a shower) Got out of the shower and was drying myself off . . . . as I was stepping back I felt a small lump under my foot. I looked down and there was nothing there. I thought . . . great, Bekah left one of her toys in here. I picked up the corner of the rug and guess what I found? (now keep in mind that not 20 minutes prior I was moving the rug) A MOUSE!! (dead of course) The closet in our bathroom was open just a bit and I'm thinking that the mouse came out while I was in the shower & I killed him by stepping on him. As I have two cats in the house right now (I'm taking care of Stormy while Mom & Dad are in Texas) neither of them were in the bathroom before or during my time in the shower, so all I have to go on is that I stepped on that little buggar as he was hiding from me. (or was he trying to scare me?) Yeah, it was an interesting morning. Hope you all have equally interesting mornings too!
