So this afternoon, since we weren't expected to do anything & because none of us wanted to do that shopping scene, we took the kids to a movie. Now Brian has pretty much always been good at the movies, but we haven't ever taken Bekah. She did great up until the previews were done & this is what we heard . . .
"Can we go home now?"
"I don't like this movie!"
"Scratch my back."
In between all of that we had her on my lap, then Scott's lap, back to my lap, then Scott's lap, the empty chair, over Scott to my lap, back to Scott's lap . . . . I'm sure you can see where this is going. At lunch this afternoon Scott & I were telling Tim & Mary that we weren't to much into theater going. For me, I wasn't ever much for the theater, I would much rather wait for it to come out on DVD then watch it in the comfort of my own home, where, when I have to go pee, I can pause the movie & go. The fact that I REALLY don't care to go to the theater anymore was solidified when, several years ago, Star Wars I - Phantom Menace came out, Scott, LeeAnne, Brian & I waited until midnight in the cold to see the movie. By the time it started Brian was sleeping. When the Star Wars logo came up on the screen there were several people that started screaming & hollering. (go figure) Of course Brian woke up & all attempts to get him back to sleep failed. So I took him out in the hall, where they have a window to see the movie & rocked him back to sleep. Then 3 people came out & stood right beside me to see the movie while they smoked their cigarettes. So I missed out on the rest of the movie.
So today I firmly feel . . . . if a movie can't be watched at home, then it's just not worth it.

But "thank you" Tim & Mary for taking us. The movie itself was great!

I'm sorry! If it makes you feel better I was sitting three seats away and didn't hear a word. Don't worry ,you're always welcome at the W.E.T. Now even better with an original Memphis Belle poster! Sweet! Thanks again.
