I consider myself to be a fairly good driver. I mean I no Jeff Gordon, but I think I do okay.
Well, today I almost got in an accident because a lady was STUPID!!
Okay, so after work I was headed to the school for Brian's first parent/teacher conference with the new teacher. As I was driving thru today I was in the left hand lane and the car next to me in the right hand lane slowed down to turn left. I was just a little ways ahead of it so I turned on my blinker, let it blink twice and then started head into the next lane. The lady in the right lane behind me was in such a "hurry" that she tried to beat me to the spot. It then occured to me (not like it hasn't before) that people in cars are STUPID!! And of course I mean that in the best way possible.
Well, I guess I just need to learn to be a little more careful. I guess I'm going to have to stay in the same lane ALL the way home. (grin)

Sis, even if you stayed in the same lane all the way home - you'd still be in danger. There are some really, REALLY moronic people driving out there! I'm seeing a LOT more of 'em now in my new job.
So - I'm wondering why you didn't compare yourself to a pro female driver like Danica Patrick? Interesting! :)
J/K!
Love ya sis. Thanks for waving to me on the phone tonight by the way! :)

I have a theory about driving and why it is we all seem to be better drivers than the next guy/gal. You know, now that you have me on the subject maybe I'll just blog about it on my page...see you there.

Here's one for you. I pulled into the gas station last evening to fill up. Only the firsts pumps have diesel so pulled in behind a guy as all pumps were busy. The car on the other side of the pump finishes and leaves. I waited and no one pulls in so back around because it is on the wrong side and a young girl come fly in and takes the pump as I'm backing into it! She actually came in from in front of me and went around to do it.
