that's my boy
Brian's been wanting to watch Heroes lately, so I've told him he could watch season 2 in his room on Bekah's portable DVD as long as she says it's ok. (Staci and I are trying to burn through seasons 3 & 4 of House before hitting season 2 of Heroes. Meanwhile, season 5 of House and 3 of Heroes are accumulating on the DVR.) He's loving it, and it's driving him crazy that I won't let him talk about it beyond "Dad, Sylar is still alive!" :-)
Anyway, Sunday morning on my way out to the kitchen to help Staci with breakfast, I had to stop and do a double-take when I walked by his room. Heroes was playing on the TV that's in his room with the old Gamecube. He figured out, ON HIS OWN, how to make his sister's portable DVD player work on his TV!
Needless to say, I was a very proud Daddy. :-D
