Outlines seem to be about all I have time for these days. I was saving them as drafts so you couldn't see them, but I decided to just publish them so you would have a chance to see - in super abbreviated form - what's going on. Hopefully I'll get time someday to go back and fill in the stories... hopefully I'll remember the stories by then!
Peace out.
I have something I need to be working on, so this isn't really a proper post, just a list of movies i've seen recently and how I rate them. (i almost didn't bother collecting links for them) They've been pretty slow, for the most part. That's not an entirely bad thing, but it's not the greatest either. Anyway...
pirates of the carribean: at world's end - 4*
i love you to death - 2*
keeping mum - 3*
sneakers - 3.5*
gataca - 3*
the thirteenth floor - 2*
pan's labrynth - 2.5*
six days, seven nights - 3.5*
Here's a little movie rewiew that Stac & I recorded for Hero. If you're interested, it's about 3 1/2 minutes long and a little over 3MB. Let us know what you think.
Tonight we watched Becoming Jane with Pastor Campbell and Heidi. Afterward we recorded some of our conversation about the movie. If you'd care to listen, it's about 5 1/2 minutes long (5MB).
There hasn't been a whole lot of time for surfing the Net lately, but I happened to follow a couple of links from Penny Arcade today that I thought I might share.
Lasagna Cat and Garfield minus Garfield
Lasagna Cat is reeling from the hit a server takes whenever linked from PA (heh-heh) but I did manage to sneak through eventually. Interesting, in a disturbing sort of way...
The last comic on the G-G page absolutely killed me!
Now, THE really big news ( in my world ) that's been ongoing this year is the end of the high definition DVD format war. In January, Warner Bros. went Bluray exclusive, and after that the dominoes started to fall! Microsoft, Netflix, Wal-Mart, one by one they all started ditching HD DVD, until finally Toshiba pulled the plug ( here's another toshiba story ).
I'll admit that I was an HD DVD supporter, and for 2 reasons. One, HD DVD hardware was better priced for the cost conscious consumer. And two, I hate Sony.
That being said, I have to admit that my first Bluray DVD player will most likely end up being a PlayStation 3, the console I formerly swore never to own. My how things change!
Check out our new truck!
Seriously. I'm not even kidding!
There's quite a story behind this, but you'll have to wait until later. Maybe I can get Staci to write it up on her page.
Oh! Speaking of Staci... check her out!
