So my B-Day is coming up in a few days (Saturday) and people (mom and Deva ) have been asking me what I want and I can't really think of many things. I think this is a sign of getting older. When I was a kid I always knew what I wanted for my B-Day, and the last couple of years I have no ideas really. I gave mom and Deva a few ideas, but it took me almost an entire afternoon to come up with them. Does anyone else have this problem?

Always!! Don't ask me what I want, listen to me through out the year. I always specifically say I want something or show Scott something in a magazine that I would like. But when you ask me pointedly, without fail NOTHING wil come to mind. Yeah, you're not alone.

I kinda have that problem. There are always a few things I want that are just out of the price range that anyone can spend. When it comes to gift ideas that anyone can afford... yeah, I draw a blank.

Yup, I'm with Scott on that one. I can think of a bunch of things, however - they're typically priced higher than most folks want to spend on a birthday gift! :)
Although - I have NO problem spending that amount when I've got the money. (Which is NOT that often! :)

I can never tell people what I want unless I write it down when i am thinking about it and then i end up losing the paper.
