Shooting Star

I was sick this weekend. It really sucked, I had a fever off and on and stayed in bed for most of the weekend. I even stayed at home from work on Sunday. At least at this point I can now use sick pay. Inventory is almost over and then my life should return to normal. On Wednesday Deva and I are going up to Aspen Alley in Saratoga Wy with some of our friends in order to see the Aspen change. It will be so nice to get out of town for a week.

I had a very blond moment this week. I washed my cell phone, so now the battery is dead, and I have to buy a new one. The good news is I found one on ebay for right around $20. So I should have my phone up and running again pretty soon.

So it was indeed the battery of the phone that was bad, and the great thing is that I know one of the guys at the T-Mobile store. So he hooked me up with a new battery for free. It is nice to have connections. In other news my car is now broken and I mean broken, possibly the transmission. It went out between Laramie and Rawlins last night on our way to see Deva's mom. His cousin was nice enough to haul it back for me on his mom's flatbed trailer. Or I would have taken the plates and left it on the side of the road. I was not a very happy camper when it happened as I am sure most of you can guess. So now I am without a car. Much more serious then being without a phone. So wish me luck with Powerball drawing tonight. If I win I am going to part out my car and get a Prius. It would be nice.
