Shooting Star

Sorry that I missed out on all the fun the family had this weekend. But that is the way that things go sometimes. Glad everyone had fun at WaterWorld on Sunday, Deva and I were there with our friend Jamie and her boyfriend Wednesday and we all had a blast as well. I think that taking Deva to WaterWorld is a little like taking a kid. He gets so excited and has to ride the Journey to the Center of the Earth like 5 or 6 times before he is happy.

Today I have been cleaning the house, the reality company is going to show it this Wednesday, so it has to look tip-top. Talk about annoying. When they show it I feel weird even leaving dishes in the drying rack on the kitchen counter. Not to mention the fact that you just don't know people these days, so after they show the house I am always paranoid that something will be missing.

Deva has decided to turn the salt-water tank into a reef tank, he said today that he is going to have to start giving a massage a week just for the fish tank. Since just getting the live rock, lighting, other things he needs and wants is going to cost him upwards of $500. When it is all set-up and looking beautiful everyone will have to come and see it. Maybe we can have a dinner here.

That's about it. Hope everyone is having a great begining to their week.

Everywhere I look aound here lately I see fish tanks. The next one will be mine. I am going to upgrade my two and a half gallon to a 20 gallon. Today I am running up to Petco to get sand to put on the bottom. I'm going to do sand and then some pebbles on the top. It should look pretty good. I will post some pictures when it is all set-up. (thanks to Cheyl for the donation of the tank) Deva and I may be making a very quick trip to Lincoln and back tonight/tommorrow. Won't know till around 12 when his auction ends on ebay. Jessalene is stuck here until Jodi and Janet can come and get her, probably between 12-1. That is about all that is going on here.

We did end up making a quick trip to Lincoln. Left Tuesday night around 10:30 got to Erik and Cheryl's as Erik was leaving for work. (6:30ish Lincoln time). Slept till about 11, and hung out with Cheryl for a bit of the day. Had dinner with the two of them at this Indian place there called the Tandoor Oven and left to come home at about quarter to 9 Lincoln time. We were home and in bed by 2:40 this morning and now I am getting ready to go off to work.

....as promised here are the pics of the new aquarium. I will have to put up some more pics after I put more fish in it. Which means sometime in this next week.

I love Deva, but sometimes he is a total man about things. For instance: I always have to do the dishes if there are more than 5 or 6 items in the sink. I am always stuck cleaning out the refrigerator even when he says he will five or six times. So then when do I end up doing these things? Of course after I have been on my feet for 8 hours at Wal-Mart and he has done maybe one massage all day. Sometimes life is a *(^&%. Ok thanks for letting me vent.
