I am happy to say that for one my computer is working great. I have a few mouse problems but that even I can fix. Sorry about yours tho Scott. Just came back in from outside. The lady that has the Indian paint mustang asked me if I would help her catch "O-ke-ze-a" so she could work with her while she is home over the holidays. She does consulting work for all the different Indian tribes, even in Alaska. Travels a lot. Mom called me and came down afterward and we went out and had lunch at Qdobas. We had naked burritoes and they were very good.
At 1pm met Deb over at the horses and we started trying to catch her horse. I don't know if you remember the history of the horse but it is almost 3 yrs old, run wild on the "res" in ND but was rounded up 3 days before Deb picked her up and someone worked the horse for 2-3 hrs prior to loading and shipping it down here. So to say it is a bit nerveous and flighty is a very true and correct statement. We spent about an hour and a half trying to get close enough to get a lead rope on here, she already has a halter on. No dice. I didn't want to upset her either and get her all spooked so was taking it easy on her. Finally I had had enough and went and got a spare panel and squeezed her into a corner. She could still turn around but it was difficult. Started throwing the rope over her back, over her withers and all over her till she calmed down. Finally she wouldn't even flinch or move Once I had worked the rope up and over her neck and head it was just a matter of swinging the other end under her neck and we had her caught. Then her whole demeaner changed. She knew she was caught and we just started rubbing her all over. You have to remember that this horse really hasn't been handled so we thought we had the world by the horns! We lead her around some and quit on a good note.
Talked to Greg today. He started out in KS, then went to Chicago, deadheaded to Greenbay and was on his way to Hutchinson, Ks for a 1am appt. Didn't know where he was going from there but it better be this way as it's my turn to go out.
That folks is my world and what's happening today. Later...
