On The Road

I guess it's time to show my face again. Been awhile and lots has happened I just can't seem to get caught up. So let me hit some of the highlites that I can remember. First off why am I home at 5:30 am on a tuesday morning? Loads are so few and trucking is so slow this year, worst I have ever seen it. Last week all I did was leave out on THURSDAY and go to Las Vegas an back, a whoopn 1500 miles for the week. But on the other hand I need the time to work on the garage so it's a trade off. Duke broke his leg AGAIN, this time next bone down. If it wasn't for bad luck that poor dog wouldn't have any luck at all, I swear! Kay was out last week during spring break and helped Sue alot with the house. We built runs for the horses last week and took them off the pasture so it could get a head start on the season. It look so good right now. Cricket has figured out that we live right across the street now and greets us coming an going. We can see them from dining room window.

I love this place. It so reminds me of Michigan and growing up. I was working on the garage the other morning early and the birds were singing and trees all around, gave me a warm fuzzy feeling!

I bought a new phone yesterday! Bout damn time I say!!! I was talking to Russ yesterday morning in KC,MO and it did it's usual drop dead thing. So I plugged it back in and it said" unable to charge" and my first feeling was "YES" it's finally taken a dump and I can get a new one and then I realized I could call Sue or anyone ! Man that's a bad feeling. So they didn't have a load so looked up the closest Cingular store and went over. She took the battery out and put it back in and it worked. DAMN!! Went out in the parking lot and called Sue and while talking to her it tried dropping the call so went back in and got a new "Razor" which is like my old one so easy for me to figure out. Haven't figured out the new headset yet, will work on that today.

Need to get going, hope to have hauled several loads from garage by the time Sue gets home from work.
