Pinch me Im dreaming!
After a week at a pace that would put most people to shame, WE HAVE A NEW HOUSE! I for one still can't believe it. In fact so much has happened that I am still playing catch up. What I should have said at the beginning was Sue just bought us a different place. I got in last Sunday morning at 9:30 am. At 11:30 we had a lunching date with a realtor friend and his wife. Monday was "Black Monday" and a holiday so tuesday she met with finance people. By noon today we were "preappoved" and submitted a bid on this house. People from Longmont wanted more info so were planning on bidding later this week end. They turned us down and counter offered at our top price so we accepted and we are due to close 2 weeks from Monday, Feb. 5. That was part of what appealed to them. They wanted a quick close as they are making 2 house payments and if we closed by Feb 5 they could save $1000.
So now the real work begins, moving. They already have a young couple with a couple of kids that are interested in our house. They even went to see the finance people today to see if they could do it!
