Sue finally had a spare minute and fixed me up so I can blog again for the umpteen time it seems! So very much has happened but others have blogged most of them. Christmas with the kids was fantastic. Had a lot of fun. Got the train down and had alot of fun. Scott an Tim took us out for our anniversary, great meal and good time. Work is going very well and believe it or not my blood sugar is running low! That last one is way beyond belief for me.
Amy had to work Christmas day at the animal hospital. She got a call from a young guy (21) who wanted to know if she could put his dog down. She questioned him why and what was wrong with it and so on. He was getting out of his pick-up and slammed the door shut but his dog had jumped out with him and he had slammed the door on it and broken his hind leg. Amy had him bring it in and it turns out to be a 5 month old miniture Pincher! He bought it at Thanksgiving time for $700 and was broke and didn't have the money to have her fixed up. Because of where the break was you can not just put a cast on. You have to do surgery and the cost is $600-$2200!! To make a long story short, she got ownership of the dog, bought $400 worth of part and did surgery yesterday afternoon with Greg's help. In the middle of surgery the dog up an dies and it took her 5 minutes to revive him. The steele bars you see sticking out of his leg are threaded and holding the broken bone in place.
I have for some time now been telling Sue we need a tractor to help us out over at the horses. She agrees and quickly changes the subject. Went down to Amy's office today to see the pup and there is a tractor setting in front of it running. Calvin then took me he had bought it for me! Actually just to use. A tractor, rear and front blade, 5' brush hog, post hole digger and box scraper! Hit the jackpot, I did. Check out pics!
Maybe Sue will show you some pics of my snow piles. I cleared off the drive an street in front of house and piled snow in front yard! Should have water threw July 4th. Later...

I was going to make a comment about the dog being yours, but it looks like Mom beat me to it! He's kinda cute, if you like Min Pins; which you do, but I don't.
Nice tractor. Good to know that Calvin has the good sense to admit right up front that it's basically yours, even though he bought it! hahaha
