Just alittle late...
On Sept 1 we took two horses up to Mom's. I had arranged to have the fence up by first week of June, so I guess you could say we are running alittle behind? Oh, but does it look nice! Coming down the road to here house and you see that western rail fence,mmm, nice!!What's even better is he has started on the other side. Go to Sue's blog to see some pics. To tell you the truth I was honestly thinking about taking the guy to small claims court to get my money back!
Work has been overwhelming to say the least. I goes weeks at a time when my computer never comes out of the bag when I'm home on the week ends. Sue will read me any good blogs that come along but I am to beat to do much more than catch some sleep and start all over again. The truth be known, this truck being slowed down is killing me because all the extra time it takes me to run my route comes directly out of my sleep time because I leave and get home same days. I hate it. I'm thinking of throwing in the towel.
I've been pretty stressed out about going over and getting hay from Jimmy Shutt. The bales weigh a ton and I just don't have enough umph to do it. So he calls up wednesday morning while I'm in L.A. and tells Sue to come pick it up, it's going to rain and we need to get it off the field! Sue paid a couple of her bus kids to go help her, took the 3 of them 6 hrs.!!! Boy did I luck out that time but it about killed Sue. She has some pic of that too.
Met up with Ernie tuesday evening in Flagstaff and went out to dinner with him and his boss down there from the Forest Service. Had a good time. It just kills his boss the parts that I haul to CA. He gets sure a kick out of reading the parts list, especially the "Bungs".
The last two weeks I have gotten in a day earlier than the scheduled due date so have gotten alittle extra time at home. That sure has been nice. Speaking of "due dates", ain't you overcooking that kid just alittle? Besides, with you setting on it's head all day it is going to be flatheaded now! Lower our stress level a notch or two and just give a big shove! Just kidding Mary!
