I need to back up a week and start. I made it home last friday and called Jimmy Shutt to see about getting some GOOD hay as we are running low and Campions isn't doing anything for the horses. We keep feeding more an more and they keep getting thinner an thinner. Talked to Gayla because Jimmy was out doing chores. She invited us over for lunch on sunday when we came to pick up the hay. I didn't realize it was Easter till afterwards. So went over and visited and loaded 33 bales of hay on pick up and had a wonderful lunch, took a tour of farm and tractors(arr-arr-arr) and just had the most wonderful time I can remember! I know we will be buying a whole lot more hay from them. I can't remember when I last fed hay that actually had leaf on it!
Yesterday I had my follow-up to lab work I had done a couple of weeks ago. I knew I was in for an ass chewing of huge magnatude so bit the bullet an got it over with. Turns out it was that bad. Blood sugar is high(282), I knew that. Blood pressure was high(170-90). Kidneys are ok, and get this...cholestrol is 124, and LDL(bad chol.) is only 66! And I don't have Prostate cancer! So we are back to square one on sugar an pressure now that I have insurance again.
High lite of last week-end...I got to ride Cricket around for awhile. Didn't have any problems at all.
Picked up 2667# of shingles for Thorban yesterday in Denver. Didn't even harder lower the pick-up. Got 18mpg coming home!
Need to run fix a bite. We are off to Cheyenne to look thing over for Pathfinder fair up their next month. Later....

The Schutts are cool, always have been. I bet you had a blast! And real hay to boot...
Sounds like the health is doing ok. Are they ever going to quit screwing around with your insurance?
Is Thorban re-roofing Grandma's house? I know exactly what that's like!
