Here's a surpise!

I crawled into bed here at home at 3:30 this morning! I was wide awake after having to chain up to get over the mt and dropping my trailer. This week I had a USF Reddaway freight load from terminal (Fontana,CA) to terminal, Denver. I had an export load going out, Pork Heart Single Slash. I don't know if that is how many tries it took to get it out or what!

When I emptied out I went over to check and see if my load was ready or what and was told it would load after 10pm. So I called James and we went out to eat and I went to bed so I could run for awhile when I got my load. "We'll come out and get you when we're done." I woke up at 5am, went in an got the paperwork and left. I hate it when people don't bother to follow thru.

Ran into snow in Utah and again in Glenwood canyon but really got into the crap at Vail. Did my usual thing and put one chain on right outside tire and went over the hill. At Silverthorn there were 2 CHP and one was outside his car with a flashlight and checked me out as I went by!

Anyway, was nice to be home early for a change, got some shopping done and now time to relax. Later....

Sounds interesting. Got lucky with the CHP eh? Cool!
