Last week end I was only home for a total of about 12 hr max so I was more than ready to get home this week. Had to baby sit the damn reefer to get here. It quit Thu. morning at 11 over by Flagstaff. Took it to Alb. but they couldn't fix it so kept going.
Got the horses out the last couple of days and have had a lot of fun. Sue is still working with Manny. He's had a refresher in trailer loading. Did really well. While Sue was working Manny I got Cricket out and groomed and lead her around just letting her get used to everything. Did it again today with even better results. Janet spent the day and we got almost all the horses out and groomed them.
Tomorrow I plan to leave early so maybe I can get back to a normal( that is almost a joke in itself) routine. That hasn't happened anytime lately. I have had 7 picks on every load coming home for 5 weeks now! I'm due for a break.
Thats all for now. Later...

There's nothing normal about your job. You should know that by now.

Au Contraire Bro-in-law, sleep deprivation on this job is normal. Drivers who "Know It All" is normal. Chatter about nothing at all on the CB is normal. Drivers complaining about airhead dispatchers is normal! He, he, he!
Dude, there's a lot normal about this job.
