On The Road

Boy are Sue & I tired tonight! At 8:00 am we went over to Campion and borrowed their tractor and disk to disk up Amy's arena for the horses. It took about 2 hours of work, but when I finished, the arena looked pretty good. We moved disabled vehicles around and cleaned up around the area a lot, then went to lunch - Amy's treat.

She was going to quit for the day, but we talked her into coming and assembling the arena, again. We had panels spread all over the place that we had used for small pens for the horses to eat the grass down. We had to disassemble them and put them on Greg's pickup, then haul them over to the arena and put them together again. Every other panel we drove a fence post in, to chain them to, to help hold them up.

We didn't get it all done tonight, but we didn't leave a lot. Then Calvin came by and we all came to the house and jumped in the pool to cool down, then had supper here. It was a long day and we're exhausted.

I tried all last week end while Sue was gone to get on to blog but it wouldn't let me on. Sue just now got me fixed back up so all is cool again. I have literally run myself ragged in the last couple of weeks. Made a 15 1/2 hr run back from L.A. with a total of only 2 stops. This week it was 17hr home. A week ago I had 7 pick ups and this week it was 6! Tomorrow Brian an I are leaving out , he is going out with me this week. We went out and stocked up on the nessicitys tonight. I think he alittle excited to go now. I found an old wallet that I had made at some time or other and stocked him up with some money and told him I didn't even want to hear "Gramps, can I buy this?" Boy you are on your own now. Chappy was here today, it just killed him when Brian would call me "Gramps" Beka told him once it wasn't nice to call me. His reply was"He doesn't care!"

Haven't done much of anything around here now since the shower project with Tim. Just to beat and so little time.

Grandma made me a new blanket for the truck. John Deere tractors!! Found some green sheets, man oh man.
