Walking and weight loss

So Tuesday I joined this weight loss study thing through my doctor's office. Its a deal where there are testing a drug for weight loss. Yep, I'm a guinnea pig.

As many of you know "they" recomend that people walk 10,000 steps every day to aide in weight loss. As part of the program I was givin this VERY nice pedometer. Tonight Cherise and I decided to walk downtown, to the HayMarket. We did. So today I walked a total of 13,304 steps which is almost 9 miles. I did 2 miles before we left home just walking around the house and the salon.

The study lasts a full year, hopefully I will see some good results. I'll let ya know.
