Reflections

Time just keeps flying by. We are franticly getting ready for a huge SCA event, Lilies War. I am sewing up a storm well, I was until I killed my sewing machine. Yep, its dead... I'm in mid project and came to a screeching halt. Well it was more like a clunking halt. But its dead. Hopefully when we get back I can have it serviced or have a service for it. It was a great machine, with a long full life.

We went to see Shrek the 3rd. And I was inspired by Fiona's dress that she wore to her baby shower that I made 2 that are similar. I can't believe that I was inspired by a cartoon. Oh by the way I totally DIG Keira Knightly's garb in the second half of POTC3. (when she is the King) I really want to make something like that, and that hat... Oh Man.... I am turning into a huge garb nerd, right before you very eyes... and did you see that trim....

We are suposed to pack tonight and leave tomorrow for Lilies. You would think that we would be organized and ready, but NO!

Can't I just have 1 more weekend to get my things together?

We're back from our adventure. It was quite the adventure too. I was sick for the second half of it, almost went to the hospital. I'll tell ya about that another day.

My daughter's are living with us for 6 weeks, possibly for good. Keep us in your prayers about this matter, its not going to be pretty.

Anyway nothing else new or exciting, life is sorta back to normal. (as much as it can be)
