Reflections

Not really.... I just re-installed The Sims Online. One of my good friends back home emailed me today to tell me that she is now playing TSO. She had heard from another friend that I played. SO I rigged it up again... I'm sure that I will be spending most of my days off in front of the computer playing it.

In other news Erik and I nearly died yesterday. We were almost in an accident that surely would have been in the papers. I can see it now.

Man! Seriously there were a crap load of Angels looking out for us... We were so very lucky... I'll go into details later....

So I have been playing TSO almost none stop for 2 days. If you ever decide to play it come find me... Hear are my names and what cities I live in...

My 15 year old, Typhannie had Cheer Camp this week. She tried out for the NCA squad. And she made it!! She's on the All American Team and gets to go to a college bowl game this year... Either in Miami or Hawaii...

I am so excited for her! She has worked so hard!

Not too much going on... I have been playing TSO every chance I get...

Today I took a break and went and had a Spa Pedicure. I have been wanting to check out this salon since I first saw it... Its very nice. Maybe someday I will work there, who knows....

Why is this the first that I have heard such horrific news....

I am seriously contimplating becoming a Flyers fan...

I am very saddened by this....

I have seriously neglected my blog a bit... Sorry... Its that game... Everytime I turn the computer on I play TSO.

Then all of a sudden its like 9 hours later and I am still in my pj's.... Good thing its my day off...

In other news... I've hit a rough patch... The girls are back home, the house is quiet. And I still have no-one to call a friend here. And its not because I don't try, but its not like school...

How do you make new friends as an adult? hmmm... There is fighter practice tonight and we haven't gone in awhile... That might work...

Just my weekly post.... (or so it seems) I would post more often, if something actually would happen that is post worthy...

Jamie and Deva might be coming for a visit in a few days... It will be a super quick visit, but I am excited just the same...

Over Labor day weekend my parents are coming for a visit... I am really excited for that... My mom is maiking a special trip half way up to Estes to get me some cider form the little Cherry Cider place... mmmmm.... I can almost taste it now....

Typhannie just got her "packet" today... She's going to the Orange Bowl in Florida... (the cheerleading thing, remember...) So....

Let the Fundraising begin... She needs $300 by Sept 12, $300 by October 12th (or 17th, can't remember) and the remainder by Oct. 30...

Does anyone want to sponser a young talented cheerleader? Just let me know...

She's working on posters to take around town. I then gave her the idea of going and talking to local business owners and asking for their support...

Any other ideas?

That's what my life has become... not so much in that order...

Its funny... I have lived in this town now for almost 7 months and I have no one to call a friend. I have been playing TSO for 27 days and I have some of the best friends I could imagine... one in WI, VI, NY, and my real life friend in CO.

IN OTHER NEWS

Typhannie has decided not to go to the Orange Bowl. She needs about $1600 for herself to go and an additional $1600 for each parent that goes along with her. That doesn't include any spending money. She doesn't think she can do that before the Oct. deadline. I wish I had it for her. I can't take the time off for it but if I had the money I would consider finding a new job and go with her. She has opened a savings account and she is going to save for next year. She is condident that she will make the team next fall as well. I'm very proud of her, she is such an incredible girl. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and willingness to donate.
