Ticks and Tornadoes...

Well... Tis the season I guess... Early though...

Today I cut a kids hair who had a tick on his head... I knew it wasn't lice so I said to the kid in a somewhat panicky voice,

"You know there's some kind of bug on your head?"
He says's "Oh its a tick." (totally not very concerned)

Then the kid proceeds to dig it out. He says he knew what he was doing... And since I know nothing of removing ticks I let him proceed. He told me of how he lives on a farm and has already moved 30 from his dogs. And he says ticks are going to be bad this year. I asked how do you know all this? His reply...

"When you've been in the business this long, you know."

Who am I to argue with a seasoned professional?

And we were under Severe Thunderstorm warnings, Tornado watches and now flood watches today... So aparently Tornado season is among us, early.

OH JOY!!

Who said that living in the midwest wasn't going to be fun?!?!?

Hey - you could of had 18 inches of snow to deal with! :)

Cher:

I would much rather deal with the snow.

So was the kid a tick wrangler? Got a little tick circus? havn't dealt with ticks since I was a kid. My mom always said to check my "twig and berries" after coming in from the woods.

KK:

Just wait it gets better!
