Tonight at work my coworkers Janice and Mary and myself came up with a good idea. We started a writing club. I have had friends in writing clubs before, but I never felt that I was as good a writer as they were so I never joined them.
Anyway Janice, Mary and I all close on Wednesday nights so after work we plan on going to a resteraunt and share with each other what we have writen that week. Some weeks we will have specific topics and others free writing. This week to start it off we are doing a free thing. We can write about whatever we want and in any form we want. And we will offer each other constructive critisism. We are not to judge each other.
I have had this idea for a novel for about a year or so. So this week I am going to work on a chapter of that.
I haven't done any creative writing since High School, and I'm sure that I am not the same writer I once was. But It should be fun. Maybe I will even share some of my writings here. But not yet...

Sounds cool. I was into writing in high school, even took a college writing class my senior year. Unfortunately I've gotten away from it. Staci sometimes says she thinks I could still do it, but I think I've pretty much lost it. Good luck!

Just take 20 minutes a day, Scott... Even if no-one is going to read it, do it for yourself.
