Erik and I are still talking about moving to Lincoln. We are planning on going there in October to check things out. We have asked God to give us a sign, but we haven't seen anything. We sorta need something concrete.
So God, if you read my blog can you please send us a sign to let us now what direction we need to go in. And can you make it big and flashy yellow neon? Thanks, Amen.

Ha ha ha. You are so funny. But seriously, Cheryl, if that is where you want to go, and you have nothing too major holding you here,(with the exeption of me)=)other than your family, but need to be closer to your girls, then do it. We would all miss you very much here, but I think you may have already gotten the sign your looking for. (minus the flashing neon sign) I think the sign you were looking for is you desire to be closer to your girls and you should do it. I know it is scary to make a big move like that, but perhaps the longing and the wanting in your heart for you girls is the answer you are looking for.

Hey, we would miss you when we went over for a visit, but you've got to do what's best for you & your family. It sounds to me that you & Erik need to go job checking to see if there is stuff that would support your move & then jump in with both feet & go. We would just have to make sure that the years you're down here for Christmas is the same years we are visiting Mom & Dad for Christmas, ya know!!

It's been my experience that in following God to do what's best is somewhat like a maze. You take the steps and God will either close the door or allow you to go through it. Then you just keep going! Good luck and I'll keep you in my prayers. Staci's right - look for job opportunities. Then a place to live. You know that KK lives there?

The job part for me is easy... There is a JCP Salon there and I have already talked to both my salon manager and the store manager here. Both said the other JCP would take me...And I would make more money there, because it is a bigger and busier salon. Just gotta find something for Erik.

Sometimes the signs are there, but we just don't see them. Keep praying and it will come to you. god can be very subtle sometimes. I know you will do what is right for you and your girls! I will pray for you too!
