weekend update

WOOOHOO!! What an exciting weekend. We had so much fun at the hairshow. I learned some really new techniques. Who wants to go first? Here's what our schedule looked like this weekend.

Friday Aimee stayed the night to make it easier in the morning, watched movies til midnight...

Saturday
8am- Get up, get ready

9:15- 7-11 for gas and road snacks
9:20- On the road
10:15 Arrive at the Westin, park, get out, go in hotel
10:20 OH MY GOSH!! Look at all the people!! There must have been 2000 people there... Stand in line with them and wait for the doors to open.
11:00 Doors open... go shopping at the countless amount of booths for hair, skin and nails. (really, I couldn't have tried to count them)
1:00 Hungry... Drive across the street, eat and play games at D&B, walk off lunch...
3:00 Go to first class... Aquage... OUTSTANDING!! Shop more...
5:00 Go to second class... Redken... GREAT!!
6:30 Head to hotel (the Westin was booked due to the show)
6:45 check in, haul things up to room, rest a few, go out to eat and to Super Target...
9:00-11pm Back to room, watch TV and go to bed.

Sunday
8am- get up, get ready
9am- go to lobby for free breakfast and check out
10am- go to hair show, look around more, go to another Redken class.
12noon- go to Redken booth, watch haircut.... (British MOHAWK!!) (My favorite, Erik will have soon!) an shop...
1pm- leave hairshow, go to Flatiron Crossing, shop, eat lunch, shop.
3pm- head home...
4pm- get home, relax, show Erik all my swag... relax, get on computer, relax...

I think I may have shopped til I dropped, because I am feeling it now. Still, it was worth it. This was the first BIG hairshow I have been to... It was awesome, can't wait for the next one to come!

You need to find a picture of a British Mohawk online somewhere and link to it. Is it something I'll be able to laugh at Erik about?! Haha! Erik, love ya dude! Sounds like a really busy and fun-filled weekend. Cool.

I took 2 rolls of film at the show, as soon as I get them developed you can help me put them on the site...

Sounds like you had fun!
