I'm back again...

Yea, and apparently I am in need of some internet using course. After being gone for 2 weeks from the internet I have become stupid. I had a little disagreement with our previous internet server. We were behind on payment (which I 'm sure happens to others too.) and I made payment arangements with them and did a post dated check over the phone. And 2 days after the post dated checks' date they cancelled us. I don't get it... So I was talking to the qwest guy (Frank) about it and he got us back online for cheaper. So here I am! Did anyone miss me? Or even notice I was gone?

So in these 2 weeks that have gone by, lots has happened. Last Sunday we celebrated Erik's 30th birthday. I threw a big party for him. And I will have pictures up soon. It was pirate themed. (yes, we even drank rum...) We had a blast there were about 17 people there including Erik and myself. Still we have alot of the decorations up.

Other than that I can't remember all thats gone on recently, I'm just happy to be back online.

Crush

I nearly forgot... Friday I got to go see Arena Football. The Colorado Crush is the team in Denver owned by none other than our own football god, John Elway. We (my mom and dad and Aunt and me) had a good time... I may even like this arena football better than the NFL.

BBBS...

I did something this week that I am proud of. I did my first chemical relaxer. (straightning the hair with chemicals) When I went to beauty school 12 years ago they didn't really teach chem. relaxing. They showed us one day how to do it but since it wasn't part of our state board exam at that time, they didn't dwell on it.

I have learned so much outside of school than I did in school. I always tell people that I went to "bargain basement beauty school". And it really is the truth, they taught us really only what we needed to pass boards. In one way its good that I have learned so much working because I was getting paid and not paying for it.

Valentine's day

Valentine's day was nice. We spent the day watching movies at home, went out to dinner with Thorban and Susan at the Hibachi Steak house, then to a movie at the $2/$3 theatre. We saw Paycheck. The one with Ben Afflek. I didn't hear any good things about this movie and I think the critics didn't have anything nice to say about it, which automatically means that I will like it. It was very good. Sorta kept ya guessing. I like the movies that keep you guessing til the end. It will be one that I will probably wanna see again. Maybe even add to our growing DVD collection. (That has out grown its shelving system)

Purpose

Erik and I are reading "The Purpose Driven Life." I had been wanting to get it and I really didn't think that Walmart would have it. I went and looked for it anyway and low and behold they had it for $12.47. So yesterday we read day one.

business

My business ownership dreams have been crushed. Unless I have some rich relative that will help me out with $10,000.... I can't get any loan without any investment myself. They want me to show that I am willing to put something into it, and apparently blood, sweat and tears isn't enough.

But I am currently looking for a new job. Things at my current job are changing quite alot and I don't want to be a part of it. Thay have made alot of changes that I think we will lose clients over. But I don't want to go into it here. If you are dying to know the details email me and I will email you back.

Jacob Andrew

My friend Sarah (the gal who got fired last fall for speaking her mind) had her baby last Friday. I just talked with her last night. I was calling her to get the weekly update because she wasn't due til the 26th. She had a beautiful baby boy, who she named Jacob Andrew. He came into the world Feb. 13th at 8:15pm. 20 inches long, 6 Lbs 15oz. Sarah says he is perfect. I will get to meet him Monday night. She is going to bring him to where I work. I'm so excited... I can't have anymore babies so I get happy when I get to meet other people's new babies. Now I will have one more baby around to give me the regular "baby fixes" I require.

Free HBO weekend

We had HBO free this weekend which was perfect, so I could watch the "Sex in the City" finale. Over the past six years of the show I have only seen it a few times and I have always enjoyed it. I wish one could order HBO just for Sundays. But now that its over I feel like my friends have left me. I am going to miss those girls. So Erik told me I can start getting the DVDs.

Saturday, Erik and me and some of our friends from both our work went out to a new dance club in town. Its called Club Osirus. Its all decked out Egyptian and very cool. Its pretty hard to find, locked away in these huge warehouse storage unit things. We had a fun night.

American Wedding

One of my girlfriends at work,(Amanda) lent me American Wedding. Erik and I watched it last night. I laughed so hard I almost pee'd myself. That movie is so frickin' funny. Who comes up with this stuff?

Yesterday was a pretty good day, I did another color that I am really proud of. She had reddish light brown hair and wanted blonde and really red highlights. It was beautiful. (I must say so myself) She liked it enough to give me a $20 tip!

dreaming

Wow! I had the craziest dream last night. Involving KEVIN BACON of all people. And KIRA SEDGEWICK, his wife was there too, but she didn't care. Erik was there and he DID care...

Anyway I'm so glad this is my Friday... It has been a long week. The weather the past few days has been awesome, yesterday it was in the 50's and was very spring like. I hope it is nice for my days off. Someone told me that we were to be getting snow today and tomorrow and someone else said Sunday. I vote for Sunday.
