Yeah! Today is the day

Yeah! Today is the day I have been waiting for! Football season ENDS today. I say that because today HOCKEY begins and I stop watching football. (until the superbowl) Anyway, anyone who really knows me knows that I am a HUGE AVS FAN!!! I have been waiting for this day all summer and its finely here. I don't know what to do with myself, I am so excited. Its gonna be a rough day at work I can tell.

Other than that there really hasn't been anything truely noteworthy going on here. Sunday we did go to Cracker Barrel for lunch. Like I said it really hasn't been very exciting around here...

Well, I didn't get to

Well, I didn't get to watch the Avs game on Wednesday like I really wanted. I was scheduled to do a corrective color at 4:00 and off at 5:30. Which doesn't even work in theory. See, you'd have to one magnificent hairstylist to be able to do a corrective color in an hour and a half. I'm good but no-one is that good. So I was there until 8:00. I was at work that day for 11 hours. The color turned out awesome but it took awhile. As I expected it would.

Sometimes my stupidity amazes me... Last night we didn't get to bed til 1 in the morning, and I had to be at work at 9. I get up and get ready. I was going to take a look at my schedule that is hanging on the fridge to see who was working with me this morning. As I am driving to work I realize I forgot to look at the schedule. No biggie. I get to work and set up my station and go to look at the schedule and guess what?? I wasn't scheduled to come in until 1 this afternoon... AHHHH! I totally could have slept in!! And I couldn't go home and go back to bed either because then I'd have to do my hair and makeup over again and that would suck... oh well.

Ok, I am getting a

Ok, I am getting a cold and I know why. We have been so busy lately. I haven't sat down and relaxed since last Thursday. This weekend was Erik's 10 high school reunion. So here was my schedule for the weekend.
Friday morning: get up go to work 9-5:30, go home, stay for 5 minutes while Erik finishes getting ready, leave, go to qdoba for a quick eat. Go to Herb and Sue's to see if we can catch up with Scott & Staci. Go to the school and mingle with all Erik's classmates. I don't even know what time it was when we got home. Then Saturday:
Get up, get dressed, take 2 cars to the school, I only stay for a half an hour, go to work for 6 hours, meet up with Erik at Herb and Sue's, got to the Alumni VS Students basketball game, then go to Chili's to hang out with Erik's high school friends til late. Then Sunday:
Get up, go to work, (mind you Saturday and Sunday are really busy at work) get home, sit down for like 5 minutes and the phone rings. We forgot that Sunday was a friends birthday and we were all going to "Old Chicago's" and then watch movies. So we go. Then Monday and Tuesday I worked again. Today and tomorrow I have NOTHING planned, but to sit around in my sweatpants, AVS sweatshirt and slippers, sipping hot tea.

So now let me tell you what I thought about Erik's friends. There is totally a difference in the people I went to school with and the people he went to school with. There are really only about 3 people out of the 200+ I graduated with that I'd ever care to see again. And I truely enjoyed hanging out with these people he went to school with. He graduated with 54 and like 35 of them were there. It was really nice meeting all of them and seeing Erik interact with his best friends that he hasn't seen. I'll have to tell you more about it later.

Nothing exciting has been going

Nothing exciting has been going on here other than it has been snowing since Monday.

Oh and yeah, tomorrow is Halloween. I am so not in the mood for it this year. It has never really been a holiday that I look forward to. I realized tonight around 7:30 that I need to get some candy for the beggars. I really think that this holiday is a conspiracy created by Willy Wanka himself to boost sales. I remember what it was like as a kid trick or treating. There were those people who wouldn't answer their doors but you knew that they were in there. And so you would keep knocking anyway just to bug them. This is the first year that I really don't want to do the whole thing. I never really got into it but this year I really don't want to get into it. Oh well... It isn't suposed to be warm and it is to keep snowing so maybe I will be stuck with this whole bowl of chocolate.

Anyway, Happy Halloween!

Oh! I forgot! We (me

Oh! I forgot! We (me and girls from work) went to a Halloween party on Saturday night that a gal that manages another Cost Cutters in Loveland had. It was a "pimp and ho" party. I was a ho and my friend Ericka was my pimp. There were strippers at the party. A gal for the guys and a guy for the gals. This was the first time I have ever seen a stripper. And I was so not impressed. I mean he was built nice and everything but he just didn't do it for me. Just another thing to add to the list of things that I am too old for, I guess.
