Reflections

Snow and lots of it. The News is saying that Ft. Collins got about 6 inches, but there is about 10 in front of our house. My car is buried. It took us 2 hours to get to Loveland from Denver last night, going only 35 on I-25. It was a rough drive. Then it took us about 45 minutes to get home from Loveland.

The Default/Bush concert was pretty sweet. They put on a good show. (what I could see) I am only 5 foot 3 inches and every person there was taller than me. We were packed like sardines. The music was awesome! My ears are still ringing. Unfortunatly, I think I may be getting to old for this.

Yesterday we went down to Herb's for lunch. Scott and Brian are here for the weekend. After lunch Erik, Scott, Tim and Brian went outside to play in the snow. They drug out the canoe and pulled Brian around the backyard. It was humerous! They also posed for Sue. I can't wait to see their version of "Crossing the Delaware". I had to leave to go to work.

On my break I went out to get something and right in front of my car was this patch of completly clear ice, I fell so hard! I landed on my elbow and head then the rest of my landed. OUCH!!! I knew about an hour later that I would be hurting today because I was already starting to stiffen up. So I have spent the day watching DVD's and laying in the recliner. I am off today and tomorrow so I think I'll just continue to lay around.

Last night we drove to Severence (about 7 miles east of I-25 and Harmony Rd.) to look at a house. It was real nice. 3 bdrm, 1 bath, 2 car garage, big kitchen (!) and a big yard. We will find out tonight or tomorrow if the owner's accepted our realtor's proposal. Wish us luck and say a prayer for us!

Well the realtor called and left a message today. It looks like we are moving!!! There are still a few details they have to work on and we should get a final word on a few days or so. I am so excited!! Keep praying!

I was chatting online with Scott today (like I do everyday) and I decided then to call Kate (our realtor) to find out what the status is of our move. We're MOVING!!!! We just need to finish the paperwork next week. I am so excited! I told Scott that I thought I was going to throw up... Then I called Erik at work to tell him the news and he said, "I'm gonna HURL." Scott said the sounds like something he'd say.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate living in an apartment? I hate it. The neighbors next to me are gone and they have 2 big dogs who who have been barking none stop since I got home like 45 minutes ago. Anyway, only 22 days until we move. YEAH!!!

Get This, tonight at work some of the guy sackers were talking about this band that one of them recently saw at the Fillmore. So I said " Have you guys heard of this band "Hoobastank"? They're all "yeah, that's who we are talking about." I then said "Oh, They were in here the other night and I checked them out." Then I asked "are they big?" All the guys jaws dropped. I have never heard of them! I couldn't even understand the name that apparently the lead singer was telling me!
I stood there and had a full on conversation with 2 of them from the band, right there in my King Soopers! I still can't believe it.... I am getting so old.

Nothing exciting going on here, just packing. Yesterday I painted the upstairs bathroom. Today I talked to my girls on the phone. They are doing good. Cherise is learning Spanish in school. (She's in the 4th grade) Typhannie is in the 6th, she came home sick yesterday. Erik has been putting in Buku hours at work, which is right at the right moment.

How can I get out of this ultra crappy mood I have been in all night. I have been pleasant to all my customer's but really I just want to tell them all just to BUGGER OFF!! I am not very happy with how things are going at work. I was so ticked tonight I felt like telling everyone where to stick it and walk out the door. I haven't been getting very many hours and the hours I do get just seem to get in the way of my life. Like for example the week ending the 30th I have 3 nights were I will be working 10pm - 6:30 in the friggin' morning! See why I can't take it? So, also during that time I am suposed to be getting everything packed to move. (Which we are doing starting the 30th) When the hell am I going to sleep? Ok, I am finished ranting, Thanks.

Have you seen the new show on MTV? "The Osbournes" is the funniest show I have seen in such a long time. I record it and totally laugh my butt off. I can't believe that OZZY is such a retard. I mean he is so stupid, in a totally hilarious way. He makes the whole show. I hope the show goes well and they don't cancel it.

Sometimes, I cannot believe the things you can actually find on the internet. Maybe I need to just go to bed.

Happy ST. Patrick's Day! (are you wearing a bit of green?) I've got the corned beef and cabbage in the crock. Later I am going to pick up Jodi. She is going to come over and help me pack, she'll stay the night and then tomorrow I'll trade her for Janet to do the same. Maybe I can actually get some packing done this way!

I found this awesome website this morning. I just had to sign up. You send someone you don't know postcard or a little giftie of some sort. And soon you'll get little gifties and postcards. I am pretty excited about doing this.

Happy SPRING!! I heard on the news that "spring offically arrives at noon something" today. How does it arrive? Does it fly into DIA, does it step off the plane and suddenly flowers bloom, trees bud and grass turns green. What if its held up getting here? What if its connecting flight is delayed? And where does it come from?

Blogger was down yesterday and I had something to say but its gone now. (that's how my brain works) Well, I have most of the livingroom,diningroom and kitchen packed. And let me tell you there is close to a million boxes here. I am sure the computer will be one of the last things packed and first things set up, along with the TV and DVD player...

Ya know, this just really pisses me off. I was watching the news tonight and there is this crack house in Denver that was busted yesterday. It was a Meth Lab... That's not what pisses me off, the part that pisses me off is that this is the 5th bust to that house in 2 years. The house will have to be tore down due to the toxic shit levels. I am willing to bet that these people will be up in running in just a few months and we will hear about them in the news again. And this is where our tax money goes.

Ok, I wasn't going to go here but throughout the evening it has just been a thorn in my side so I have to let it out.

On the news the same night as the "meth lab" there was also a high speed chase. This 22 year old who is a murder suspest was spotted. The police proceed to follow him and so on and so forth. He finially stopped, (after hitting 4 cars) got out of the car and ran. The police catch up to him and arrest him. His family was on the news tonight complaining about how the arrest was handled, that the police used excessive force. Did his family not see the same news flick I saw? The one that showed him leading the police on a high speed chase endangering many people's lives and putting 4 people in the hospital, 2 of which were officers. And HELLO! He is wanted for MURDER!! How do these people want him to be treated when he resists arrest. If you resist arrest you should expect to get your ass beaten by the police. Besides he gave up any rights the instant he took someone's life. Now don't get me wrong, there has been some cases of police being alittle to agressive. I think he made things worse for himself by running. Why run if you don't have anything to hide.

Tomorrow, My Mom and I may go see an afternoon showing of "Ice Age". I have been looking forward to seeing it.

Eat, sleep, pack boxes and go to work.... For the past week that's all I've done. Only 1 week to go before the big move and there still is ALOT to get done. I will be so happy when it is all over.

I did watch the last hour or so of the Acadamy Awards Show. I was so touched by Halle Berry's acceptance speach. I had to fight off tears a few times. I am so happy for Halle.

Today we sign the papers on our new house and we move in on Saturday! I am very nervous. I wish I could just blink my eyes and twitch my nose like Samantha and we'd be all moved in. I will be so glad to be all done. Last night I was having problems getting to sleep, too much on my mind. Finially sleep took over around 1-1:30 and then at 2:30 the &%$%^& neighbor dogs starting barking. (Their bedroom is right next to ours) The dogs barked for a good 5 minutes then the owners started throwing stuff (shoes I assume) against the wall, which is like 3 feet from my head. That carried on randomly for like another 10 minutes or so. Then to top it off they turned on the TV and were talking for another 15-20 minutes before I fell asleep again. I was so angry at them for waking me up. Then I had to get up early to get ready to sign the papers. Somehow I have to take a nap today because tonight I have to work overnight.(10-6:30) I am so not looking forward to that.
