Well, nothing to exciting has

Well, nothing to exciting has been going on around here. Michelle moved out this weekend. Sunday morning about 4 cars in our building (including Erik and Michelle's) had cut out pictures from Playboy taped to the windows. A car in the next buiding was egged. This is getting real old real fast. That's really about it.

Last night we drove up

Last night we drove up to Laramie to visit with (Erik's) Dad and Georgia and pick up our Tree. Its been a holiday tradition to for Dad to take the kids and chop down their Christmas tree. This year we weren't able to go with them on Sunday to get the tree, so he picked out a nice Fir for us. We got there around 7pm and we all sat around the table sipping hot cocoa, which I hear is another holiday tradition. I love hot cocoa. Erik helped his Dad with the computer for about an hour, then we loaded up the trees on top of the car and headed home.

Today I was off, I

Today I was off, I got up went to KS to get my paycheck and then went Christmas shopping! Its not as fun as I remember. People were grouchy. But I am about 1/2 way done. I had to go to 4 stores to find something on Typhannie's list. Its not a hard to find object, everyone was just out of it. So now I can start wrapping them. My favorite part. I love to wrap gifts, I even tell Erik that if he wants, I'll wrap his gifts to me. He never lets me though.
Erik and I already got each other 1 gift. I have wanted this for 18 years now (I'm showing my age) He got me a Kitchenaid 4 1/2 quart stand mixer. I am so excited I can't even tell you!! I got him a leather jacket that looks like the one that Jared wears on "The Pretender" and the new Star Wars computer game. ( I can't remember what ist called)

Last night was the KS Christmas party. This was the first one for me. (They didn't do one last year, I was highly disappointed) It was a nice party. We had a huge spread for dinner, buffett style, probably 7 courses. There were door prizes and dancing. It was a nice evening.

I haven't blogged in awhile,

I haven't blogged in awhile, that's because I am trying to spare you from the boredom. Nothing has been going on. I worked all weekend. Although Erik and I did get alittle Christmas shopping done on Sunday before I had to go to work. I was suposed to have today off, but yesterday there was a sick call for today and they needed to cover the shift. So I opened my big mouth and said I could come in if they really needed. ( I don't think they were aware of it, but I'll have 6 days this week, so that means the 6th day will all be over-time regardless of how many hours I have.)

Tonight we are going to

Tonight we are going to the opening of "Lord Of The Rings." A friend of ours (Mike) went 2 weeks ago and purchased 11 tickets. So I guess there will be 11 of us in attendance, I'm not sure of all who are going. I'm not as excited as all my friends to see this, I never read the books so I'm not keen on the story. I am sure I will be filled in by the movie, even though movies never do the books justice. We'll see.

Well Christmas is fast approaching.

Well Christmas is fast approaching. I guess there is to be a doosey of a storm coming our way. I hope so anyway. I would just like to have 1 blizzard a year, and if Mike Nelson of 9 News is correct then we will have a white Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas, I finished up our shopping yesterday. Now I can relax a bit.

Well we didn't see any

Well we didn't see any snow here, I guess it did snow in Denver. I am a little disappointed, I was hoping to get snowed in. Oh well. This weekend hasn't been very exciting, Erik and I have been cleaning the house. We are having my parents over for Christmas. This will be the first time I have cooked a dinner for them, so I want it to be special.

I hope that everyone had

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
Monday I had to work until 7:30, and that place was a circus! Besides being unbelievably busy the stores credit cards reading system went down around 10 that morning. We never did get back online. So we had to hand write all Credit cards and checks. It made a busy day even more miserable.
Christmas morning came and there was no presents to open, Erik and I open ours on Thursday. My parents came over for an awesome dinner that I created. They loved it! We watched "Pearl Harbor" and ate lots of snacks. It was a nice day.
My girls will be with us on the 31st, so my family will be doing our little Christmas gift thing on New Years day. I am really looking forward to that.
